Meh, Gi Kelate ~ The Seminar

August 24, 2008

“A picture paints a thousand words~!”

Here are 11,000 words minus the captions under each picture lols!

But here’s just a brief summary of what the seminar was about..

Basically this seminar was about alternative medicine and conventional medicine in the treatment of cancer. Experts in cancer treatments, nutrition and alternative medicines came from all over Malaysia to give talks about how cancer can be treated and post-chemo/radio management of patients.

To sum it up, the whole seminar was but an argument on whether conventional medicine was better than alternative medicine and vice versa, or whether both these areas of medicine should be carried out concomitantly (not concurrently) in the best interest of cancer patients!

In my humble opinion, I think the quacks and EBM-rigids should work hand-in-hand and not against one another.. But of course, I believe that patients should be treated with conventional medicine, then have an improved quality of life and maintained well-being with alternative medicine!

P/S: Kelantan people really like their Bomohs!
